Q turns 2!

This April 21st Quinton turned the big 2! No longer could he be considered a baby or inbetween baby and toddler( a.k.a taby). Yes quite a big boy now. Luke and I were a little sad but mostly we were in shock that it's already been two years since we became parents and responsible for another human being who is still alive and well. We must be doing something right. So instead of doing a large party we kept it low key with grandma Pam, grandpa Dan, grandma Ardis, Uncle Decker, Aunt Patricia, and cousin Elise. First we tried a restaurant called Buffalo Wild Wings out, it seemed a good spot for the kids, next we were on to Luke's parents house for cake, then came gift opening time, of course sugar high explosion playtime between the two kids, and as a night cap the coming down off the sugar high goodbyes. I tried to make sure to capture every single one of these moments and post them for everyone to see. Enjoy, we did.

Cousin Elise enjoying dinner with dad(Uncle Decker).

Quinton discovers he has a love for chicken tenders dipped in ketchup on his second birthday! Totally a toddler now.

Quinton was working the whole room including Grandma Ardis, he was hoping he'd be held all night. Grandma fell into his little scheme for a moment there, however he's pretty heavy so it didn't last long.

Family photo opportunity, we don't have many of those come our way with a toddler now a days!

Somebody sure loved his cake this year, especially since it was nothing but pure sugar. Luke and I could almost see the sugar transformation right before our eyes.

What else could he possibly ask for the boy loves balls and balloons imagine his reaction when he saw that there could be a two in one deal. Above are pictures of baseball and soccer ball balloons that ended up being larger than him. He was on cloud nine for the rest of the evening.

Quinton seemed to know just who to go to for help on opening presents(Grandpa Dan).

They seemed pretty enthralled with one particular gift given by one of Quinton's friends.

This is what is left of the two of them after the sugar shock wears off and it is time to go home to bed. Ahh the fun they had, the memories they'll share, and the crying that will occur when it's time to leave.
